Food Adulteration: Rs 32 crore collected as fines from states & UTs for food adulteration
In the year 2019-20, 94,288 samples of foods across India were analysed, and 26,077 samples were found adulterated or misbranded, resulting in a fine worth Rs 32,75,73,587.
